When I first heard about Human Design I thought it was another fancy tool that would lead me down a rabbit hole and wouldn’t mean much other than a bunch of numbers and letters. My inquisitive mind was curious and so I began researching a little more about it. I soon realised that the rabbit hole was HUGE and I couldn’t tackle it on my own. 

So rather than find everything I could about Human Design I went looking for someone who could interpret it all for me - as you know the spoken word is my thang! 

Well let me tell you, I came across a gem of a woman and I had to share her wisdom with you all. Since my reading with her in September 2019, the makeup of who I am makes so much sense. It’s what I needed to give myself permission to be me. I know you feel me, sometimes we just need to be given a little push / nod of approval by someone other than those in our current circle.

What is The Long Game all about and why is it so important to grasp when it comes to wealth building?

We will be unpacking this as I take you on a blast from the past of how I thought I could bypass the long game. The reality is that this concept landed for me in the last two years and I wanted to share why it is critical to sink into the knowing that everything in life, including wealth building, takes time. 

Faster isn’t always better and building from a place of sustainability is key across all areas of life.

Assumptions around money are everywhere and you can pick and choose any story you like - there are plenty out there for the picking. Did you read that > choose your story!

What I find is that most of us are choosing the stories that suit us best (eg: comfort zone) and then blame everything to do with them. I never hear anyone own their stuff and say, actually I am here because of me. I am here because I chose to be even though it is hard to admit it

The secret sauce is that you are your own genie in a bottle !! YOU are the creator of everything in your life - good, bad and indifferent.

After losing millions, I see this current situation in a way that perhaps not many others share with me. You see, years ago the ship was sinking around me and my ego took a beating. There was no one around to save me, to understand what I was going through and it was a tough, long and lonely road. 

I am uber grateful for that time because now I know that the light is always at the end of the tunnel. I am able to implement all the things I did during that time in my life to what we are collectively going through. The uncertainty I faced during the financial hardship I endured means that now I know there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. There is always a reason why we are here and how this came to be.
