Bob was but a child when Bert playedat Woodstock, but still got to see him play there, and has great stories toshare! All this and more! Oh, and if you listen past the end, you might justhear a few words from Bert himself! This is part two of two! Check out Bob’sinternet radio station at www.shoutingfire.comto hear some amazing music!1 hr 1 min - Episode 6 – That Gutsy Lady, Nancy Lee Bentley!
KEEP THE DREAM FLOWING – THE LOST EPISODES!!
Way back in 2021, the original server we were using to host the first 60+ episodes of KEEP THE DREAM FLOWING mysteriously vanished, and the episodes, while never technically unavailable, became harder to find once we migrated to a new server. We are pleased and proud to begin the long-overdue task of migrating the episodes over to the new server, to have them all in the same place at last!
What we have here is a chat with That Gutsy Lady, NANCY LEE BENTLEY, all-around renaissance woman and author of the most excellent book WOODSTOCK WINDOW ON FOOD AND HEALTH! Nancy is more than a bit of a health guru and has lots of useful information to impart here. Oh yeah, did we mention that she also attended Woodstock and has a great story to tell? This one is VIBRANT!!
1 hr 36 min - Episode 128 – More About What The Hell Happened To Blood, Sweat & Tears with Steve Katz!
KEEP THE DREAM FLOWING RETURNS! After a hiatus, we are BACK!! Our first new episode in a while is a wickedly cool thing – we have an interview with our friend STEVE KATZ, former guitarist with Woodstock giants BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS and head honcho of THE BLUES PROJECT! In this episode, Steve talks about the essential new BS&T documentary WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS? which has been playing in theaters of late and will soon be available on streaming platforms! The film documents the band’s 1970 U.S. State Department-sponsored/forced goodwill tour behind the Iron Curtain and explores the backlash the band got as a result of the tour. It’s a must watch!!
1 hr - Episode 5 – Audience Tales with Ellen Cohen!KEEP THE DREAM FLOWING – THE LOST EPISODES!!Way back in 2021, the original server we were using to host the first 60+ episodes of KEEP THE DREAM FLOWING mysteriously vanished, and the episodes, while never technically unavailable, became harder to find once we migrated to a new server. We are pleased and proud to begin the long-overdue task of migrating the episodes over to the new server, to have them all in the same place at last! What we have here is a delightful and fun interview with none other than our good friend, the eternally lovely ELLEN COHEN, who has one of the more interesting of stories about attending Woodstock! It’s a pretty funny story involved in getting separated from her friend for three days of peace, love and music! This episode is one that we’ve waited to release for quite a while… In its original form, back in 2019, this was one of the episodes that was most challenged in terms of quality due to the circumstances, under which it was recorded. We have used AI to clean up some of the background noise. It is still not perfect and probably never will be, but hopefully you will find it to be a much more enjoyable listen than in its original form. In any case, it’s a great interview, and an important one as well!56 min

And boy oh boy, do we have a good one for ya! There are few people who can honestly say that they were at the epicenter of the creation of Woodstock Nation than the amazing Ticia Agri! As Michael Lang‘s assistant, Ticia was intimately involved in the creation of the Woodstock Music and Art Fair, and can fairly be considered one of the most important figures in the history of the festival. She has so many great stories to share, and in this episode, we get to hear just a precious few of them. This is the second of two episodes, and those are two of our best and most important!
