The joy of believers rests in who God is and His grace. Joy is independent of circumstances because as children of God, our life transcends circumstances. Through Christ, we have an eternal future. We will never lose the Joy of the Lord that we have no matter what comes our way. True joy comes from God.

We should rejoice in our calling and our birth, our salvation, and our sanctification, knowing that death and every trail has been conquered by Jesus, rejoicing because we are kept by the power of God unto every good word and work.
