In Episode #120, Sherman High School Defensive Line Coach Steven Wade joins the podcast. Coach Wade talks about his difficult childhood growing up in Texarkana, Arkansas, coaches who influenced him along the way, and his eight year career as a United States Marine. We then get into how Coach Wade got into coaching football and then discuss coaching Linebackers and Defensive Line.

In Episode #118, we welcome on Georgia Tech Graduate Assistant Alec Brown onto the podcast! Coach Brown, who works closely with the Yellow Jacket Linebackers details how they teach eye discipline with their linebackers through a progression that begins pre play, pre snap, and post snap. We go through all that Linebackers should be seeing in those different phases and how that information leads to them playing with more confidence and making more plays.

We kick off Season 4 of KYPD talking with Magnolia High School (TX) Defensive Line Coach Bryce Hale! Coach Hale talks about the Bulldogs' blend of 4 down and 3 down fronts, some of their favorite stunts out of each, and more! Mike Roach, who covers the Texas Longhorns for 247 Sports, joins us for Episode #116! Mike breaks down Texas and OU's jump to the SEC and talks about why the Horns made the move, how this will impact recruiting and what it means for college football moving forward. We also talk about college football's new Name Image and Likeness rule and the impact Mike has seen it have on college football already. Mike also gives us his outlook for the Longhorns in '21 and gives us a few C/O '22 recruits from the State of Texas who are poised for a breakout season in 2021.

Hueytown High School CoDefensive Coordinator Le'Andre Crawford joins KYPD for episode #115! In our conversation today, we get into a little bit of everything. We talk LB play in a 3-4 and keys and reads for ILB's. Then, we talk about coaching a generation of kids who have a low football IQ, and then we also get into how to teach kids to watch film and some of the best ways he's found to coach kids up on film.

In Episode #114, new El Campo High School Head Football Coach and Athletic Director Chad Worrell stops by KYPD to talk to us about building a championship program. Coach Worrell begins by talking about his football career and the things he's learned along the way, and then we get into his thoughts on what it takes to build a championship program, what he looks for in coaches he hires onto his staff, how he handles issues that crop up on his team, practice organization, and a whole lot more.

University of Connecticut Defensive Line GA Luke Carrezola joins us for Episode #113 to take us through the Husky's fundamentals coaching progression for their defensive line. We specifically get into what Jake believes has allowed the Patriots to be so successful year after year and why he wasn't surprised to see Tom Brady take the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Super Bowl in just his first year with the franchise. We're back with Golden West Defensive Line Coach, Savea Harrington! Coach Harrington and I get into the Rustlers' unique three down front that is predicated on their DLine moving every snap which allows them to play with smaller, more athletic defensive linemen. We then get into Coach's pass rush progression and his minimalist approach to coaching pass rush and then close out the episode talking about how Coach breaks down opposing offense's pass protections.
