Last Chance U Season 5's Laney College Defensive Line Coach Bryan Coughlan joins KYPD to discuss California JUCO football, two big storylines from the 2019 season that did not make the show, and then we ask him for his best Coach Beam story. Tomball High School Defensive Line Coach Scott Reid joins us to talk about coaching up interior defensive linemen, including how he breaks down his individual time, and then we get Coach Reid to open up about his intricate process for smoking brisket, his smoked queso recipes, and his tips and tricks for smoking and grilling.

Boston College Senior Defensive Tackle Luc Bequette joins KYPD to discuss his recent decision to transfer from Berkley, where he spent the last five years, to Boston College in order to play his senior season. Bequette who was a second team preseason All Pac 12 pick going into 2020 started 38 straight contests for the Bears and earned Cal's Brick Muller Award as the program's most valuable lineman. Luc discusses what it was like growing up in a football family, highlights from his days at Cal and a look ahead at his final season at Boston College.

Hanover College Defensive Line Coach Justin Robinson joins us on KYPD to discuss every defensive line coach's favorite topic: getting after the QB! We talk about Coach's pass rush progression, his favorite drills, and how he coaches up other ways to attack an offensive line and affect the QB.

Rose-Hulman Defensive Coordinator Nick Davis joins us for Episode 75 to discuss his "Speed Defense" which has helped the Fighting Engineers' lead the nation in sacks over the last four seasons and finish in the top 20 of 11 statistical categories over the last five seasons. Coach Davis details Rose's multiple look defense and how they manage to maintain simplicity while appearing complex.

Plano East Defensive Line Coach and Special Teams Coordinator Nate Collins joins us for Episode 74 to discuss the importance of being detail oriented as a coach and creating a winning mentality within your position group and program. We also talk about the challenges of coaching at a school with over 5K students and how the Panther coaching staff develops their players.

Longtime Defensive Line Coach Rick Petri joins KYPD to share some knowledge and wisdom he gained from a 43 year coaching career which included stops at Ole Miss, Miami, Duke, South Carolina, Kentucky, Louisiana Tech, and Arkansas State, and two national championship appearances. Coach Petri also had the privilege to coach and groom some of the all time greats on the defensive line, including Warren Sapp and John Abraham. We get into developing a coaching progression for your defensive line, pass rush technique, and Coach's advice to young DLine coaches.

McKinney High School Defensive Line Coach Trey Bryant joins KYPD to talk about his days growing up in DFW and playing football at Berkner High School and then later at Baylor, the Atlanta Falcons, and in the Arena Football League. We then discuss Coach Bryant's coaching progression for his defensive line, some of his favorite EDD's, and the best thing he's picked up from other coaches this offseason.
