One year after bursting onto the scene with "36 Chambers", the Wu began their expansion across the hip-hop industry as various members of the group went on to release solo albums. Method Man would be the first to strike, serving up more of that raw, gritty Wu-Tang essence with "Tical".

Heads in the fall of '94 saw the beginning of what would be a meteoric, seemingly overnight success of The Notorious B.I.G., with the release of his debut album.

"...C'MON, KICK IT!!" (word to Evil Dee!) With Ghost unable to make it and J. Millz still currently unavailable, illy is left to his own devices and hits the turntables for this episode.

"Puttin the South up on the map was like Little Rock to bangin..." Right at the peak of West Coast dominance and during the onset of an East Coast resurgence, in came a duo from Atlanta who would go on to be huge stars in their own right, and one of the most innovative groups in hip-hop history.

On the heels of a smash success, 1993's "Doggystyle", Death Row released this compilation which showcased Snoop Doggy Dogg and a cast of all-stars and up and comers in West Coast hip-hop, the following year.
