How do we approach deliverance? Is inner healing a biblical concept?

I believe as per Romans 6 and Isaiah 61:1 that we are delivered from the power of sin at Salvation, but there is a journey and process - a daily inward renewal and restoration of the soul that occurs as we walk in intimacy with the Lord.
