Ronnie sits down with lobbyist and political consultant Vincent Montalbano of Montalbano Initiatives, Inc. The two discuss a variety of issues such as the education system in New York City and the campaigns for the Democratic nomination for president.

Ronnie is joined by Bernard L. Stein, co-publisher of “The Riverdale Press,” the community newspaper for the Northwest Bronx. Mr. Stein also edits “The Hunts Point Express,” a newspaper which is produced by students at Hunter College.

Ronnie is joined by New York City Councilman Eric Gioia to discuss his latest community improvement projects. Representing District 26 in Queens, Councilman Gioia has earned a reputation as an advocate for education and an adversary of poverty.

Elaine Berg, President of the New York Organ Donor Network, joins Ronnie this week. Ms. Berg explains the entire process of organ donation, including how to register as a donor and how organ recipients are placed on the list.

Joining Ronnie are Suzanne Braun Levine and Mary Thom, editors of an oral history on Bella Abzug. The book covers Abzug's decades of public service and leadership in the women's movement.
