MaryAnn Davis, tells how she got to IU, became legendary Coach Bob Knight's secretary, and her forty year career with the legend! My Athletic Director at Broad Ripple High School, Gene Ring, who played for and coached with Branch McCracken started my passion for this game! Mike Woodson was recruited by Coach Knight from Broad Ripple and Coach Knight even spoke at Broad Ripple's 1980 basketball state championship awards banquet. As a little boy I watched perfection with the 32-0 Indiana Hoosiers since then I have been a huge admirer of Coach Knight! It was an absolute pleasure talking with MaryAnn Davis about her career and a little inside info on one of the best basketball Coaches of all-time! Yes, I did, I went so far as to name my son, Andy, Andrew Robert Montgomery Powell! Sit back relax, share, and enjoy.
