Zach and Lark slowly grow to trust one another. One night they become even closer than they'd planned. But Lark may still be too broken to trust anyone. When she shoves Zach away, he will have to prove to himself that he's good for more than farm labor.

Perfect story and Perfect Narration! Loved it!
I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!! Zach melted my heart and Lark was so perfectly matched for him! This series has been awesome from book 1. I thought book 1 was my favorite, then book 2 came out and became my favorite now book 3 has blown them both out of the water! Most series don't get better and better with every book but this author is great and out doing her last book every time!
Zach lived a very sheltered life, he is hard working, shy and came out of it all perfectly balanced. Lark lived a normal life until something happened to her that has broken her and made her retreat into her fears. Together these two find a way to be exactly what the other needs. I love that they are so honest with each other. I also love how this family/adopted family all take care of each other, they are all very considerate and caring with each other and it makes my heart happy with every book. I can't wait for the next book but I honestly don't think it ill be able to move Keepsake into 2nd place on my LOVE list for this series.
The narration was perfect. They were both cast perfectly for these characters.
Great story and narration makes this a favorite of the year!
This was my favorite book of the True North series from Ms Bowen, the story line dealt with difficult traumatic pasts and she wrote it masterfully revealing raw and beautiful strong characters. Erin Spence and Teddy Hamilton's voice performance are excellent.
