Keith Sadler Presents

My guests this week are the delightful Dusky Sunday. I have known, and loved, these guys for years, so it was such a privilege that they stepped in to perform as short notice after Andrea King had to cancel due to ill health.

This week's guests are Honey & The Bear. We hear two sets of beautiful songs from this wonderful Folk Duo, and we chat about their music making journey and how Suffolk inspired many of the songs on their forthcoming debut album.

This week's guest is Lisa Jane! Lisa is such a wonderful talent. I feel very privileged to have her joining us on the show. You'll get to hear two sets of beautiful music from Lisa and a chat between Lisa and myself about her music making.

This week’s guest is Tilly Moses. We talk about politics in music and the messages she aims to convey through her songs. Mansplaining in music and how our brains struggle with the internet.

Funny busking stories, life as a prison guard, TV talent shows and monkeys, these are just a few of the things I chatted to my special guest Alton Wahlberg about on the show this week. Plus we hear his beautiful music and there's also a very special treat on the podcast this week. A marriage proposal!

This week I was joined by Joy Ellis. Joy's debut album 'Life On Land' received four star reviews in The Guardian newspaper and in Mojo Magazine. In this podcast you get to hear Joy perform solo in an intimate setting as well as chat to me a little about our friendship as teenagers, making Jazz music as a woman and how the boundaries between music genres are getting blurred.

Hiding in walls to escape the drudgery of working at JJB Sports, stream of consciousness songwriting, and the local Ipswich music scene. These are just some of the things I got to talk about with the supremely talented Phil Jackson on the show this week.

The first ever episode of Keith Sadler Presents! My guest this week is Jade MayJean.
