Rock was going through some major changes in 1987. Classic Rock as we knew it was fading, yet some truly great albums, including U2's "The Joshua Tree" and Guns N' Roses "Appetite for Destruction," were released. Meanwhile, Alt Rock, led by bands like Depeche Mode, The Smiths and Echo & the Bunnymen, was ascending. The upheaval made for an excellent year in music.
Get ready for an extended look at the killer tunes being released in 1987. We’ll hear 20 songs from an eclectic mix featuring the likes of Guns N’ Roses, Whitesnake, Def Leppard, The Smiths, Depeche Mode, INXS, R.E.M., U2 and many more.
