Venus conjunct Saturn removes rose-coloured glasses that might be tinted your perspective, especially in close partnerships and relationships.  This pattern is just beginning and will be revisited in April of this year as Venus again moves into a conjunction with Saturn.

After an unusually long two-month stay in Sagittarius, Mercury moves into Capricorn on January 8. This is an improved placement for Mercury.  This is likely to help you become a little more grounded in your words and your plans. Mars will be retrograde from December 6 to February 23. Mars will start its retrograde period in Leo and then move back into Cancer in early January.   This will give the next few months a sense of stalled progress or sluggish movement. In general, Mars retrograde is a great time to review how you express your needs and wants and how you assert yourself. Cards will also oppose Pluto to add some power dynamics to the mix.

This Full Moon in Taurus highlights themes of sensuality and helps us connect to the world of pleasure and leisure. It’s a great time to soak in that Taurus energy and focus on nourishing the body. The influence of the Earth element on both Venus, the ruler of this Full Moon, and Taurus, the sign of the Full Moon, places a focus on sensible, reasonable, and realistic choices.

This Full Moon in Taurus is also conjunct Uranus, which may bring unpredictability, upheaval and change to the forefront.
