There are strong, conflicting themes coming with this fiery and energetic Full Moon in Aries, happening September 26/27. A deeper look into this Full Moon reveals more nuanced threads. Its proximity to Neptune will add emotion, sensitivity along with a lack of clarity. Saturn also enters the mix, adding some real complexity.

In this episode, Kelly also provides an overview of her UAC experience earlier this month. Tune in to get the full picture.

Venus stations retrograde in Scorpio on October 2/3 and her retrograde period last about six weeks. Kelly explores ancient astrology’s views on death, rebirth, and renewal through Venus’ retrograde cycle. Tune into this episode to learn more about this fascinating concept.

This Lunar Eclipse in Pisces happens on August 27/28. It closes down the cycle of eclipses through Pisces that began in 2024. It calls you to review the dreams that might have inspired you over the past two years to determine whether they still hold true as you move forward. This is a good time to acknowledge the end of a chapter then review and reset the topics of the Pisces part of our chart.

Jupiter rules this eclipse in Pisces so don’t be surprised by a heightened sense of emotional awareness, compassion, or forgiveness. Pisces is boundless, therefore exploration outside our typical limits is always possible. Uranus also influences this eclipse. Listen to the full episode for all the details.

This New Moon Eclipse in Leo takes place on August 12/13. The Sun is both the eclipsed planet AND the eclipse’s ruler, which adds even more intensity and potency. The Sun collectively represents people of great and visible power, esteem and influence. This solar eclipse, which blocks the light of the Sun, often brings a loss of prestige and power to a ‘solar figure’.

Personally, this eclipse invites you to step into the darkness and use your intuition and non-sighted senses to explore the shadows. It prompts you to look beneath the surface to see what is uncovered. This eclipse calls you towards the unknown, especially in those areas that are connected to the Leo part of your chart and life. Tune it to the entire episode for all the details.

This episode features an insightful dialogue between Kelly and her guest, astrologer and long-time friend Alicia Yusuf. Together, they explore malefics in general and then Saturn in Aries in particular.

Kelly and Alicia discuss Saturn as the great teacher of cosmic truths and honours the planet as it teaches us perseverance and patience. Saturn also brings us clarity and a willingness to engage in things as they are. Saturn’s placement in Aries is confronting, pitting the slow and methodical Saturn against the quick and action-oriented Aries. They discuss this using several charts as examples. (The charts show up briefly on the screen at the start of each chart discussion.) Watch the full episode to get all the details.

This Full Moon is also in an Air sign so get ready for an emphasis on the mind and the intellect. Kelly talks with medical astrologer and naturopath Kira Sutherland about the joys of the planets, with a focus on the 6th and 12th houses and the joys of Mars and Saturn.Kelly and Kira talk about how benefic and malefic planets link to ideas of good or difficult fortune, and how recent translations of ancient texts have added many new layers to contemporary astrological practice. And they dig into the sixth and twelfth houses from a health perspective, describing the sixth as the place of acute illness and hard work on health, and the twelfth as chronic conditions, confinement, and convalescence. For more on Kira's work with health and medical astrology, check out her website:https://www.astrologyofhealth.com/For Kelly's teaching on the Joys of the Planets and the 12 Houses, pop over tohttps://www.kellysastrology.com/product/planetary-joys-and-the-houses/

Kelly's next live webinar, More or Less? Navigating Jupiter and the South Node in Leo, is happening Saturday, June 20 at 12pm Eastern. It explores how to work intentionally with this unusual and paradoxical pairing over the next 12 months. This episode explores the tension at the heart of the full Moon in Capricorn, a symbolic tug-of-war between emotional fullness and real-world practicality. The  Moon in Capricorn sits in the sign of her detriment, which can create a sense of instability as your emotional self bumps up against your responsible, grounded side. But Capricorn's Saturnian energy also brings a reality check that, if you lean into it, can help you access a wiser and more mature perspective.
