  • EP03 — The AI Rumble (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini & Meta Muse)

Twenty-four AIs enter the ring. Every 90 seconds a new one comes out, and the only way out is over the top rope. Last one standing is crowned the Kelso Tech Bros AI World Champion.

Michael (the Apple guy) and Matt (the try-everything guy) put the whole AI circus through a Royal Rumble-style match: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Meta's new Muse app, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek, Siri, Alexa+, both Copilots, a pair of flopped AI gadgets, and Clippy. Along the way, Matt's Samsung fridge turns out to serve ads, Alexa+ recommends a jacket for 87° weather, Siri gets unmasked, Michael caves and tests the Meta app he swore he'd never download, and Claude tells Matt to go to bed at 3 in the afternoon.

The part you'll want to see: Muse's animated avatar typing away on its little computer. Watch the video version: https://www.youtube.com/@kelsotechbros

    CORRECTIONS FROM THE RING

Zed is a Rust-based code editor with built-in AI, not a data-processing add-on. Qwen is Alibaba's model; Ollama is just an app for running models locally. And Matt was right about Cursor: SpaceX, which merged with xAI, agreed in June to acquire Cursor's parent company.
