The CBS World News Roundup was the heart of CBS News Radio.  It is 100% the reason that KELY Radio became a CBS News Radio affiliate.  For nearly 40 years Steve Kathan worked for CBS News Radio and for the last 30 years he sat in the anchor chair of the World News Roundup.  The Friday, May 22nd World News Roundup was the last.  Preserved for history, here's the final roundup. I admit, Kathan and crew brought a tear to my eye.
