Chapter 5 records how Jesus was rejected in Judea. In chapter 6 we see He was rejected in Galilee also. This was a turning point in His ministry. From immense popularity the tide now turns and there is increasing opposition and hostility. But Jesus was not affected by public opinion because He was focused on doing His father's will.

When Jesus said, 'I am the Bread of Life' He presented Himself to us as the answer to our deepest need. Without Him we may exist, but not live. Bread can give us physical nourishment, but Jesus gives life.

Paul says that God has put all things under the feet of Jesus. The practical implications of this are amazing for our daily lives as believers.

The feeding of the 5,000 is the only miracle that is mentioned in all 4 gospels. But for John, this was more than a miracle - it was a sign. In this video we see why.

When Jesus was on earth He called His disciples to follow Him. But now He has ascended into heaven we cannot follow Him. Following has been replaced with abiding. What does it mean to abide in Christ?
