What drives you? Is it human desires, personality, the flesh? Or is it the Spirit? There’s always so much to do in life that ‘needs’ to be done, it distracts us from what ‘should’ be done. How do we find focus amidst all those things? What does a win look like in the Christian life?

Following on from the value of people, this message talks about the power of humility from Philippians 2 - How God lifts up those who lift others above themselves.

Articulating your values determines your perspective on life. The most significant experiences of God’s strength and the most joyous moments of life can be found when it seems that life itself has turned against you. It simply depends on your perspective!

What are your values? Are you able to articulate them?

Our expression of faith seldom keeps up with the evolution of our life. The burdens, complications and circumstances of life are ever changing: we become busier, more informed, more habitual; less reliant on God, and less outreaching to those around us. Inevitably, faith becomes faithfulness as a work, not as a fruit from abiding in Him. Jesus came not only to bring us redemption, but also resuscitation. In this message we look at forming our lives to rely on God, to find ourselves daily refreshed in Him.

What game are you playing - the finite or the infinite? When you use finite rules to play the infinite game of life – things don’t make sense. In this message we outline two rules for playing the eternal game.

What is renewal? What does it look like when the Spirit comes into your life – what’s he trying to achieve? Is it signs and wonders; charismatic; something else; something more? In this message we start with the age old question – Why is my life seemingly no different to before I was a Christian? Not on the surface, but deep down - the addictions, fears, anger, bitterness, depression - the things that bubble below, that others don’t see.

In the midst of all we’ve been through this year, take time out on Christmas Day to come and sit with Jesus. Draw your eyes upon him - let your eyes see His salvation. Once you’ve seen Jesus, His imprint on your heart can’t just be wiped away. Re-centre yourself on Him. Let Jesus - not the world - define how the rest of your days will look. He is the anchor of your soul.

Responding to the grit of life - when you follow a star, only to find a dusty old stable. As we ramp into Christmas, this week we reflect on the year that’s been - one we never expected! Where was God in it all?
