Kensington Church | We're So Glad You're Here!

Hearing God begins with making space for Him. Jesus consistently withdrew to be with the Father, modeling that prayer is not a last resort, but a first response.

When we intentionally create space, God becomes our safe place, and from that place, His peace and presence shape how we live. Join us for week one of our series, Unmute.

Troy Campus - Founder, Steve Andrews

What if God isn’t distant…but active? What if He’s still speaking into real lives, still healing real pain, still saving people who feel far off, and still inviting ordinary people into something meaningful? Our series, God Is…, is an open invitation to explore who God really is and what that means for you, right now. As we walk through the life of Jesus, we won’t just be learning about God, we’ll be experiencing Him, and we’d love to have you join us.

Join us as we celebrate Good Friday and Easter! Because of the death and resurrection of Jesus, there is hope for all humanity! Let’s reflect on the sacrificial love of Jesus on Good Friday and His victorious resurrection on Easter!

Becca Mowrey - Orion Campus

This unlikely King; this unlikely coronation. On Good Friday, we gather to behold the crown of thorns and the Cross. What looked like defeat was a great and holy reversal: Jesus was lifted up not in splendor but in sacrifice – the greatest act of love the world has ever known. Come enter into this sacred space of reflection and revelation with us.

Troy Campus - Andrew Kim

On Palm Sunday, we remember how the crowd welcomed Jesus with cheers and palm branches, full of expectation.

Surely He would change their circumstances! But God’s plan looked nothing like the earthly rescue they desired. Join us as we explore how our own misplaced hopes – just like theirs – can become a catalyst for profound shift in our perspective, a shift that puts the Kingdom of God first.

Clinton Twp. Campus - Adam Karschner

Every[one], Everywhere shows hoA God is moving through the incredible global partners we are honored to walk alongside. As we share the stories and ministries of these indigenous leaders, we invite you to learn, lean in, and participate—through prayer, experiences, and generosity—in work that reaches far beyond our church walls. Together, we celebrate and commit to support our partners as they build God’s Kingdom and reach the [one].

Building out, not up. God’s way is radical openhandedness. Instead of keeping resources to ourselves to build “taller and grander,” we pour them out to reach those outside our walls – our neighbors near and far. This upside-down, supernatural thinking has been part of Kensington’s DNA since the very beginning and God has used it to multiply our impact for good around the globe!
