Kensington Church | We're So Glad You're Here!

Have you ever considered the church to be old-fashioned or irrelevant? Have you ever wondered why it has "held on" for so many years? It began with a small group of 11 ordinary men sitting in a circle in a far-off, dusty city. Over 2000 years later, the church is still a force of hope and life change. Join us for this three-week series, as we examine who Jesus really was, what the church is all about, and why its mission has never changed. The church was– and is– God's plan, and it's unstoppable.

Speaker: Andrew Kim

Paul talks about Epaphroditus becoming ill in vv.26 & 27. Many scholars interpret that word in the Greek as he was weak because he was persecuted in Rome because people knew he was with Paul and was a Christian. As a result of this persecution, he almost died (v.29). But even though he knew that he’d be walking into a difficult situation in Rome, he still went and risked “for the work of Christ”.
