It’s time for the 20th Annual Heather Treat Memorial Duck Race! The event is FUN for the whole family! Great food, LIVE music, a beautiful venue, and an opportunity to help out Johnson County cancer patients. Make planse to adopt your ducks, and be at the Clad & Cordon Vindeyard, THIS SUNDAY, September 13th! The event starts at noon, the ducks race at 2:30PM, and all the fun happens ALL DAY! You can adopt a duck ONLINE at their official WEBSITE, and while you’re there, pick up a 20th annual commemorative t-shirt. The Heather Treat Memorial helps cancer patients living in Johnson County, and the story behind this organization is best told by Robin Harper. She started this fund in 1994 in honor of her sister, and since then, they’ve given out nearly $500,000 to help those going through the toughest battle of their lives. She joined me this morning on the Kent in the Country Morning Show with all the details about this year’s duck race!!
