When we are presented with opportunities to live out our faith, do we embrace the gospel and lend a hand to those in need, or do we become fearful and deny giving out what we have freely been given ourselves? If we truly have the same power that raised Jesus from the grave living inside of us, then it is our responsibility as believers to use this power to bring glory to the kingdom. Letrsquo;s love life, love people, love Jesus.

However He does not promise that we shall then avoid the trials and challenges of life but He does promise that whatever life throws at us we will be able to stand.Furthermore in 2 Peter 1:6 we are called to make every effort to persevere -nbsp; in living life Jesus' way and I would suggest also to persevere within the church and the ministries that God has called us to.We need to decide that God is the rock on which our lives are founded and, whatever challenges we face, to persevere on that basis. However the most amazing thing is that Jesus persevers with you and I.

In Jeremiah 10:23, Jeremiah talks about how we are not to direct our steps but how we should follow God's direction. Are we going to let God direct a small bit of our lives or all of it?

6Ten 26/05/2013 | Part 1 | Forgiveness is a command and is necessary for us to live fruitful lives. Jesus said to his disciples in Mathew 6:15 lsquo;But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sinsrsquo;.nbsp; But what does it mean to forgive and what are some of the choices we have to make with those around us? What if we do not feel like forgiving and what about the pain we have received? Jesus on the cross forgave us of all our sins and wrong doings and today he asks us to be like Him and extend His grace to other.

Our visiting speaker tonight is Canon Andrew White, often called the Vicar of Baghdad. He speaks about the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and reads Act 2:17a. He says that the most important thing is to be in the place where God wants us to be, using both Jonah and Thomas as examples.
