Palm Sunday | The King Who Came in Humility (Matthew 21:1–11)

On Palm Sunday, we remember the moment Jesus entered Jerusalem — not as a conquering king on a war horse, but as a humble King riding on a donkey, fulfilling prophecy and revealing the true nature of His Kingdom.

As the crowds shouted “Hosanna!”, many expected immediate deliverance. Yet Jesus came to bring something deeper — salvation not just from circumstances, but from sin itself.

We also consider the call of discipleship from Mark 8:34–37 — to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Jesus. Palm Sunday isn’t just about celebration; it’s an invitation to surrender, trust, and truly follow the King.

As we journey toward Easter, this message helps us prepare our hearts to understand who Jesus really is — and what it means to follow Him.
