Palm Sunday | The King Who Came in Humility (Matthew 21:1–11)

On Palm Sunday, we remember the moment Jesus entered Jerusalem — not as a conquering king on a war horse, but as a humble King riding on a donkey, fulfilling prophecy and revealing the true nature of His Kingdom.

As the crowds shouted “Hosanna!”, many expected immediate deliverance. Yet Jesus came to bring something deeper — salvation not just from circumstances, but from sin itself.

We also consider the call of discipleship from Mark 8:34–37 — to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Jesus. Palm Sunday isn’t just about celebration; it’s an invitation to surrender, trust, and truly follow the King.

As we journey toward Easter, this message helps us prepare our hearts to understand who Jesus really is — and what it means to follow Him.

In this message, we explore the biblical meaning of “witness” — from the Old Testament word ‘Ed’ to the New Testament ‘martus’ — a word that also gives us “martyr.” A witness is someone whose life and testimony point clearly to God, even under pressure.

Rooted | A Life of Generosity – Living from God’s Abundance

What does it look like to live a truly generous life? In this message from our Rooted series, we explore how generosity flows from God’s own nature and becomes a natural, deep-rooted response to His goodness, grace, and daily provision. Drawing from Psalm 1, we’re reminded that a life planted in God bears fruit in every season.

We see how God models generosity through Jesus and continues to load us with His benefits day by day (Psalm 68:19). Generosity, then, is not about obligation, but gratitude — a reflection of God’s character expressed through our time, gifts, skills, and resources.

This message also addresses common obstacles that hold us back from generosity, including the self-made myth, delaying generosity until we “have enough,” and living a segmented faith.
