1. Did anyone from you group see the eclipse? If so, what made it so special?
2. What was one of the most amazing meals you’ve ever eaten? Why do you think it’s so easy to gush about food or something else, and sometimes hard to talk about Jesus or the gospel? What would be needed to change that?
3. Read 1 Peter 2:4-5 and 9-10. What are all of the different things/identities we are called in this passage of scripture? Which is the hardest for you to identify with?
4. When you read this passage, do you see yourself? If so, or if not, why? What’s standing in they way of being able to see yourself in light of this text?
5. As priests called to serve our community, we need to offer spiritual sacrifices and lift high th the name of Jesus. What are some ways that we practically can do this?
6. As we begin to live out our holy & royal priesthood, how do you think God is calling us to pray, be available, and be Jesus’ representatives?
7. Share the names of neighbors, friends, and co-workers that need to know Jesus. Pray together as a group that God would provide opportunities this week to live as priests of God’s Kingdom to the community He’s placed you in and to the people He’s put in your life.
