Welcome to the Daily Daf Differently. In this episode, Dr. Joshua Kulp looks at Masechet Ketubot, Daf 11.
This daf discusses the conversion of a minor. In Second Temple and in tannaitic times conversion was not a process that required a court. This was an innovation of the amoraim, and it may have first occurred with the conversion of a minor, who could not make the decision on his own to convert.
The opening and closing music for this podcast is Ufros from The Epichorus album One Bead.
