Kevin and Brie Save the World – Episode 47 – Rebroadcast the Podcast
It’s a blast from our past in this podcast rebroadcast! From our vaults, March 2, 2021 – Episode 9, Go Away, Lestat! – in honor of Anne Rice.
Brie still doesn’t understand cereal milk and Kevin regales us with tales of his 103-year-old Irish Grandmother (rest in peace, Grandma!) We received some great listener advice this week, which boils down to – JUST BE YOURSELF. You do you. Also, the moral we reached – don’t cut your own bangs. Basically, Kevin and Brie really appreciate you for who you are. Thank you for being you.
Our Listener Question gets Kevin and Brie all riled up, as we go deep in our conversation and discuss our heightened public anxiety caused by the pandemic, understanding our traumas and using them for good, transference of energy, using forgiveness to heal, and the power we give to words. (Phew – that was a lot – thanks for sticking with us!)
Brie has TWO TheraBrie stories this week, and in Culture with Kevin, Kevin FINALLY puts his money where his mouth is.
Please consider supporting THE SPOT Period in Germantown, Philadelphia – working to end period poverty and the stigma behind menstruation.

We have a lot of opinions this week and we play a new game – Who’s That Emily?
In our Listener Feedback, a Dear Listener reminds us that friendship means being there through thick and thin, even when dealing with a badly behaved boyfriend. (From @so.informed on Instagram)
Stand with Julius Jones – don’t let an innocent man be executed on November 18th. The Pardon & Parole Board voted to grant Julius clemency due to inconsistencies in the case, which cast too much doubt, yet he is still scheduled to be executed.
Call Oklahoma Governor Stitt at 405-521-2342 and ask that he “stand by his own word to follow the recommendation of the Pardon and Parole board and grant Julius Jones clemency. Please save Julius from a wrongful execution”

Kevin and Brie Save the World: Episode 40 – Russian Valley Girl
We’re 40! (episodes, that is). Thanks for sticking with your two favorite advice podcasters. We’re trying to get in shape; Kevin’s eating healthy and Brie can’t get into a pole class. Plus, Kevin does his best Julie Andrews impersonation and we discuss how you have to meet people where they are. Also, we love celery. This week’s Listener Feedback is an update from “Feral Cubicle”, who wrote in a while back about an obnoxious co-worker. This week’s Listener Question grapples with creative plagiarism and how to confront the alleged plagiarizer.
TheraBrie builds a more inclusive world through Lego play. Culture with Kevin celebrates the mushroom.
