Miss Connecticut 2024 Gina Carloto, Trumbull Native and a Sacred Heart University alum, talks with Kevin about taking the Miss America stage in Orlando, Florida recently. Representing the state of Connecticut against 50 other contestants from across the nation. 

Gina then talks about her experience as Miss Connecticut over the last year and what it means to the community. She also tells us how women can get involved as this summer’s miss Connecticut pageant happening in Ridgefield at Ridgefield playhouse this summer.

Today Vin gives his thoughts on Iowa's Caitlin Clark breaking the NCAA scoring record over the weekend and what it means for women's hoops here in Connecticut. There's one Connecticut women's basketball team that's giving the Huskies a run for the their money at the top. Vin also breaks down the college hockey landscape heading into tournament season. Then explains which high school teams are set to make a run in March on the court and the ice.
