Recently Kevin Max announced on Twitter that he is an Exvangelical. This was of course met by the typical Twitter reaction - those that agree with him cheered and rejoiced and those that didn't agree with him immediately went after him. There never seems to be a middle ground with twitter - and this is just another reason why Social Media is cancer - but this is neither here nor there.

It seems that in the past few months there has been a trend where people that have any questions regarding their faith jump over investigating their faith and go immediately to marking themselves as exvangelical as they are deconstructing their faith. Some of the people that make this pronouncement, like Kevin Max, then go on to state that they believe in the universal christ. What does this mean? Let's discuss this.
