Hello, today I'm going to talk about how to make money selling things online when it comes to digital products, really 3 things you can do today that do work.

The good thing about digital products is that you can keep much more of the money. If you sale something that is physical, say it's with Amazon that you get a very tiny amount of money.

This is the problem with dropshipping, it's the race to the bottom because most people just look at price.

The challenge with digital products is they are not easy to sale. If you think you can just drop a link and make a truckload of cash from an affiliate offer then you are going to think the whole thing is a scam.

Maybe that worked when the Internet was first created, but now people are skeptical and for good reason.

This is probably why people do think it's a scam because they don't make any money and there ego can't take it, so they just blame something else and it is not there fault right?

If you are not making any money in affiliate marketing it is your fault. Same thing with me everything is my fault. This really is the most important tip and it probably will make you happier. By thinking everything is your fault, you give yourself power.

If you blame everyone else, you give them power.

How can we make money selling digital products online? The next tip is people are lazy. This is good because lazy people created the car and internet.

This means you got to give someone a reason to buy a digital product. You have to create some urgency otherwise people will just think about it forever. You have to get people to take action and this is not easy.

You can either set up a time limit where you can raise the price or set up a time limit to take the offer of the table. There really should be some type of time limit.

Just doing this will make more money for you.

I know what you might be thinking, if it isn't your product how are you supposed to do this? One idea is to only market products that have this built in scarcity, this built in time limit. This is great when it comes to new launches because usually there is a time limit.

The second option is to create a bonus. Ideally you want a video and you can mention this bonus that if they purchase whatever digital product you are selling it you will include it.

With this bonus, you then can create a time limit around the entire offer. Does that make sense? There really is a whole lot more to selling digital products online, the worst thing you can do is try to figure everything out on your own, what I mean is not go get help and this is the third tip and probably by far the most important.

It's much easier to find someone who is successful and then just copy them. You don't have to re-invent the wheel.

Hey, today I want to talk about writing articles on Linkedin and I want to share 5 things you can do to get more views.

Linkedin is a great platform for business to business leads. You can use Linkedin to find a job, find people looking for work and spam the hell out of people in messenger.

I don't think it's a good idea to spam your link to people by messaging them on Linkedin. As an affiliate marketer there is a good chance you can find your target audience on the platform, the best thing is they probably have money.

I use Linkedin to post content, and I really think that is the best way to use it. Today I want to share with a few hacks that might help you with posting articles on Linkedin.

The first tip is just like Facebook, Linkedin rewards if you upload the content directly to Linkedin. The is an area I have been screwing up at because I'm lazy, but you want to upload a video directly to Linkedin in the article section.

If you post the URL from Youtube you will be penalized and this is just like Facebook. They want you to stay on Linkedin.

When you post an article on Linkedin. You will notice that at the very top of your article there is a space to put an image. I have not been doing this, but it is something I'm going to improve upon and it's a good idea because it makes it come more alive.

If you are wondering where to get images that you don't have to spend money on one place is splitshire and another place is Gratisography. I included the links below for your convenience.

You probably already know this, but don't have a huge block of text. Break them up to just a few sentences otherwise it's overwhelming and people are lazy. This has to do with all the articles you write.

When you are finished with your article then you can go up to publish. Then you can include the keywords, which will make your article found.

One really good trick is to use Displaypurposes.com. With this tool you can enter one keyword and it gives you several similar options.

Then you copy the keywords without the hashtags and paste them into Linkedin. The last tip is another one I need to work more and that is as soon as you publish an article on Linkedin, try to get it exposure.

Similar to Facebook, the more engagement it gets as soon as you create a post, the better it does. This means share that article with Reddit communties, Tweet it, share it on Facebook and even Linkedin Groups.

Today, I'm going to talk about what is a Snapchat strategy for affiliate marketing and 2 ways we can use the platform!

Unless you have been living under a rock, you have heard of Snapchat. The creator Evan was the youngest Billionaire ever at 27 years of age.

Of course Facebook hates Snapchat and Instagram who is also owned by Facebook created their own stories.

Stories mean that what you put out there disappears within 24 hours.

How can we as affiliate marketers use Snapchat to grow our business? One idea, is ads. One thing you may not know is they are expensive and start at $3,000 a month for mobile video ads.

The quickest way to go out of business is to spend yourself out of business. If you are wondering how the ads, work just use the platform and will notice ads and they are not cheap.

I'm not a huge fan of paid advertising unless you are making good amount of money.

If you don't want to use ads then you are going to need Snapchat followers. Snapchat is more difficult to use with affiliate marketing because there are no hashtags, tags or reposts and this means you can't build your following like you can with other platforms.

With Snapchat, you have to be more of a ninja. You can teach your Snapchat stuff on other social media sites to get people interested in following you.

You can use your handle on your other social media channels like your emails and blog posts. Of course you can also follow other Snapchat users to get them to follow you back as well.

What do you put out there for Snapchat? One idea is you can tease your other content, go behind the scenes and talk about whatever is on your mind. This is just like any other social media channel.

One thing I just learned how to do is link my YouTube video to my Snapchat. Unlike Instagram where someone needs 10,000 followers, you can put a link to your video.

How to do that is go to your YouTube channel and whatever video you want to share you will notice 3 dots.

Push that button and go to share and then copy link. Then you can take a picture of the video, like a screen shot.

Go back to snapchat swipe up to go to your memories, then go to camera roll.

You can hit the three dots at the top right corner and go to edit. Here you can hit the paperclip button and add the link to this picture. Then hit the blue button on the bottom right and add it to your story.

If you are wondering what the our story button is, it's a new feature where everyone in a location can add there story and you can see stories in that location, like Instagrams location feature.

Hey, today I'm going to be talking about how to launch an online business, really from the point of what not to do!

I've been an affiliate marketer on and off for over an insane amount of years and I've made tons of mistakes, still do today, but I want to share some of my biggest with you, so you don't do them.

When it comes to people there are some that think they know everything and they try to do everything on their own. The guy that doesn't want to ask for directions when he is clearly lost.

Don't be that person, this was the way I was when I got started and I lost lots of money because of it.

On the other extreme there is the person that is always learning and never does anything. You don't want that either because nothing will ever be perfect. As you soon as you learn something, it's good to use it in the real world.

There is a 50 / 50 balance here. The second biggest mistake and I still see this today is not having a list. You can make money without a list, and there are many ways to make money online it is just you can do all those things better with a list.

Email was first created in 1971 as a way to separate a person from the domain name. It's built on a solid foundation and is not going away and these social media platforms can change things, but with an email list it's yours.

The time it takes to build a list is worth it. Haven said that the money is not in the list, but what you do with it.

The third biggest mistake is giving away too much free stuff. If you have a list and you give out free stuff for months and then try to sale something iff it's the moon for $1, you will not make any money because it's part of the culture. Plus they probably will be angry.

You will end up being the nice, sucker that everyone takes advantage of, I know from experience. On the flip side you can't just be pitching shit all the time, well you can if you know what you are doing, but you can't say the same thing all the time.

Buy my product, it's half off and it's really good, will help you with xyz. The reason why is people are used to that they have built up shield to protect themselves from marketers and that is why we need to be different.

Those are some of the biggest mistakes I've made and another is giving away too much information. I still do this today.

Ladies and Gentleman, curiosity is our weapon and the more we can remember this, the better off we will be.

For the last tip I'm going to share I want to bring out the Casino. Ever notice when you go to a casino all roads lead to the Casino?

Yea, they have big signs and when you check into your hotel, say it's in Las Vegas you have to go through the Casino to get to your room?

Here is an example and I see this so much. In someone's Twitter or Instagram profile I see entrepreneur and digital marketer and this and that.

Where is the website? If you have a webpage, put that puppy everywhere. Heck, I might even make a shirt with my webpage.

Hello, today I'm going to talk about how does something go viral, 5 practical tips that really do work on getting buzz around your content and 1 super cool idea to help you with affiliate marketing.

Look, the reality is there is some luck involved when something goes viral. I'm a believer that the harder you work, the luckier you get.

The more content and this means videos, articles, podcasts, books, posts you put out there the more likely buzz will be created about it.

I just have to say that up front and we all know that. Having said that, I want to give you practical ideas that you can take away and use to help you with your content. Real world stuff and not woo woo talk.

The first tip I have for you is a website called viral content bee. You can use the platform for free by sharing other people's content and this will build up credit. You can of course buy credit and then you use that to submit content.

Other people will then share your content on their social media platforms like Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest and Tumblr. This helps get momentum started on your content.

Another tip is like your own posts and content. I've seen Youtube video where not one person liked it,

Another tool and this is one I really like is called Empire.Kred this has an interesting twist because because people can invest in you like your a stock and if you use social media a lot then they will make credit, you can do the same.

You can share other people's content and thus get credit, buy credit and of course use that to get buzz around your own content like articles, videos and your social media stuff.

The third place to create buzz is socialadr.com. This is the same like other platforms where you can share each others content.

For number 4 I'm going to go with Socialmonkee.com. This is a backlinking service where you pay a small fee one time and then submit your content and many backlinks get put on it over time, so it looks natural.

What is a backlink? It has to do with off page SEO, and this means if places are backlinking your content in Google and the keyword is in the title, first sentence, last sentence and tags, it helps rank for that keyword.

Along time ago there used to be blog networks and Google Cracked down on them, it was much easier for articles, videos to rank and now there are other things. Backlinks don't play as much as a role as they once did, but they still do and still backlink my content.

I also, go after keywords that are not that competitive, this is called long tail keywords and there is a lot to this.

Another tool that could help you is Justretweet.com. You retweet other people's tweets and they retweet yours.

I really just scratched the surface of platforms out there than can assist you, there is also sociabookmarketing sites, Reddit Communities and so much more like repurposing your content.

Hello, today I'm going to be talking about how do podcasts make money, a secret way to get even more attention and 1 trick to make podcasting very easy.

One of the things I believe is attention is a form of currency. Everyone is fighting for your attention and according to Gary Vee who is a very successful marketer things are going towards voice.

I know podcasting seems intimidating because you might be thinking of equipment, time and how do they make money.

Just like YouTube videos or articles you can make money from a podcast by selling advertisement space, selling your own products or selling other people's products.

Selling advertisement space is by far the dumbest way to make money from a podcast, YouTube video or anything.

The New York Times had a difficult time making money from this business model. You might be wondering how do you sale other people's products or your own products.

What you do is mention a link in your podcast or a website where people go to get more information from their you can capture their email address and then sale to them.

Is it worth it? Absolutely, and there is a very easy way to do this. One of the things I recommend you do is create a short article to begin with. Then make a YouTube video from that article, like what I”m doing here.

Then what I do is use a program called Any Video Converter to take the sound from that video I made.

The next step is to take the sound or MP3 file and upload it to Anchor.FM.

Anchor.FM then takes your podcast and submits it to Apple Podcass, Google Podcasts and Spotify. You can also upload your file to Soundcloud but the free version you only can do it so many times then they make you pay.

Anchor.FM is completely free and I”ve gotten a ton of traffic from Anchor.FM, so why not.

Let's go over some tips on using Anchor.FM to get even more attention. One tip and I got this from an NPR producer is that you have to hook someone in the first minute.

This has to do with all content, not just podcasting and something I need to work on even more. What you do is tease what you are going to share with them. This is what I'm going to talk about today and then you can tease what someone is going to get out of investing their time with you.

When it comes to this tease a good rule of thumb is the power of 3 and it just works. Another tip and this includes all your content is to show your vulnerabilities, your screw ups and what you learned from them.

People can relate to you and the reality is business is about ego's. The more I can swallow my own ego and pride, the more money I can make. Do you think that is true?

You just want to be yourself as much as you can. This is why I'm a big fan of putting a picture of my face as on the cover of e books and not having custom thumbnails for Youtube videos.

People are not going to stop using email anytime soon. If you have a list and you are constantly adding to it, you can make money on demand.

If you are focusing on a website that sells physical products with Ebay and Ebay changes their rules – that can really hurt you. With a list you can drop Ebay and change them for another product.

It really is the Asset in Internet Marketing, that brings enormous value. I learned this a long time ago, that the money is in the list.

The truth is, the money really is what you do with the list. That really needs to be said. There are list brokers out there where you can buy a list of people.

I used to have a massive list of people that I build up in the health niche and I barely made any money, because I was doing everything all wrong.

If you know of a product that can help someone, then you are not really selling to them but giving them added value. If you don't tell them about it you are hurting them.

It really is a shift in mindset. It's good to think about these things from the very beginning, instead of just grow a list and figure out what to do with later on. This is what I did and it was a massive waste of my time.

The first step to making money on Instagram and this goes with any platform, including Youtube, blogging or whatever is to stick to one niche.

If you are not making any money online, I highly recommend the make money online niche because all you have to do is document your journey. Learn some things and share what you learned. It just goes together and it is a competitive niche, but that is because there is so much money in it.

One trick that some people don't know is that you don't always have to create your own content for Instagram.

What you can do is go to other Instagram accounts, take their content and post it. How do you find that content?

Instagram is all about Hashtags and one tool that I really love is Display Purposes. You can put a keyword in it and then it pops up many other ideas that you can simply copy and paste.

You put in a hashtag of your niche and when you find a post you like hit the paper airplane symbol. Then at the very top you can download the picture or short video.

Then you can take it and add it to your feed or story. What is the difference? The story only lasts for 24 hours and then it disappears, while the feed lasts until you delete it.

You can add a comment to the picture or video. Then what I do is put a space down and I will include a short promo or reason for someone to check out my profile.

Something that makes someone curious to view it. Then use display purposes to put hashtags below your promo and another tip is to add a location, because that is another way you can get found. finally send it.

People will find that post based on the hashtags, then they can look at your profile. The point of the profile is to get people to a website and again curiosity is everything.

When people go to this website this is how you monetize the attention. Hopefully that makes sense. Here you can sale people your products or other people's products – in the end we have to sale something to make money.

The more engagement your posts get and this means comments, likes and shares the higher it will climb in the search rankings for Instagram. There are other tricks to doing this, but that is for another video.

As you can probably guess, I do think affiliate marketing is legit and you can make serious money at it. One of the things I really love doing is talking people on Facebook, especially on Messenger. I hear it all the time that affiliate marketing is a scam.

If you are not making money with affiliate marketing one of 2 things are happening. One you are doing the wrong stuff. This happened to me for the longest of time.

I used to have a massive YouTube channel, millions of views and I barely made any money. Do you want to know why? It's because I couldn't sale.

I was doing everything all wrong, my email marketing sucked, the company I partnered with was not very good and looking back over the years, no wonder I didn't make shit for money.

Of course, like an idiot I kept doing the wrong stuff, to stubborn to ask for help or get help. Don't make the mistake I made for years.

The single best thing for you to do is find someone really good and you copy them. Another point is we has humans are loaded with excuses.

I talk to people all the time on Facebook that did it for a week and quit because they didn't make enough money.

The second reason you are not making money with affiliate marketing is you are not doing enough of it.

Look, no bullshit even if you know what you are doing, affiliate marketing takes a lot of work. On my old YouTube channel I kept doing videos with no views and finally momentum hit and started getting shit loads of views.

The same thing happened with Gary Vee with his wine show. It took him along time before he started to see good results. This is why he stresses patience.

Another point I want to make is you can buy all the products you want, you can watch YouTube videos all day, in the end if you don't sale anything you are not going to make any money.

One of my favorite sayings is things are not as bad as you think they are and they are not as good as you think they are.

This means when you start affiliate marketing you might think your going to get filthy rich within a year. Then people go to the other extreme and think the entire thing is a scam.

There is this whole in between thing, which reality sits.

If you are truly serious about making money with affiliate marketing, the first thing you need to do is find someone really good and there are lots of fake people, so this is not as easy as you think.

What is Medium and why use it? A big reason to write on Medium is there is already a huge audience on the platform. When you write on your own blog and you are new, how many people are hanging around your website?

When subscribing members applaud your story you make a little money. You really don't make that much, If someone is a $5 dollar a month member and only clap for your article you will get the $5 dollars.
