This research explored the potential of Keyfobell Powder (KFB), a novel extract, to mimic the longitudinal bone growth effects of somatropin (human growth hormone) through the upregulation of IGF-1. KFB is composed of a mixture of Astragalus membranaceus water extract, red ginseng (Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer) 30% ethanolic extract, and Cervi Parvum Cornu 50% ethanolic extract, mixed in a ratio of 1:1.1:7.4. The study found that KFB supplementation significantly increased IGF-1 levels, leading to enhanced bone elongation in animal models. This suggests KFB may offer a natural alternative to somatropin, potentially with a reduced risk of side effects. While somatropin is effective for growth promotion, it can be associated with adverse effects. This study proposes that KFB, through its combination of Astragalus, red ginseng, and deer antler extract, could provide similar benefits by naturally stimulating IGF-1 production, thus promoting bone growth. It's crucial to acknowledge that this research was conducted on animal models, and human clinical trials are necessary to confirm these findings and assess the safety and efficacy of KFB as a somatropin alternative
