It's a given, we're going to face trying situations. What we must be mindful of is that God is still with us in those times. The enemy wants to paralyze us with doubt or fear to constrict what the Lord would want to do through us during the trial. We must learn how to place our trust in the Lord and not lean on our own understanding, then God can walk us through to victory.

There is a principle from God that explains how life is sustained. God placed the seed in the earth. God planted trees and bushes in the earth. God formed you in the womb. God has placed believers in Christ, so that we are sustained and protected. This principle teaches us which was first, the chicken or the egg.

Satan wants to alter your spiritual identity through sin, but we must resist his temptations through Christ. Lucifer altered his identity trying to be 'like' God. Satan was able to get Eve to alter her spiritual identity through covetousness to be 'like' God through sin. Jesus came to earth equal or like God, but chose to serve God as a Man. Be who God called you to be.

Satan is effective in both of these goals because he will stir up controversy or strife just before the blessings manifest. Are you in a hard trial now? Check out this word from God for you.

It is Satan's aim to get us where we will turn on God. He can accomplish this through horrific trials that invade our lives, if we fall prey to his schemes. God has literally given His children dominion over the earth so that we can subdue it for His glory. It is the Lord who has authorized us to lay hands on the sick so they can recover. We've been given authority to cast out demons and to declare the Word of God to all nations. We must be about our Father's business.
