For the time that is ours to share, I want to talk about: The Keys To Unlocking The Power of Your Vision.

“And the Lord answered me and said write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it.” Habakkuk 2:2

Habakkuk 2:2 is a major verse in the Bible, when it comes to writing your vision. It’s sad to know that many people know this scripture by heart and still they haven’t taken the time to write out their vision and begin to implement what they write down. As you take time to read and study Habakkuk 2:1-4, here are some keys that will help you unlock the power of God’s vision for your life.

1). Vision is revealed to you, by listening. To unlock the power of your vision, you must get alone with God to listen for His directions. Your time alone with Him must be uninterrupted. So, make sure you put away your mobile devices, turn off the TV, get off social media, and tell everyone you know what you are doing, so they won’t interrupt you.

2). Your vision must be written down. After you have spent time seeking God, write down (in explicit details) what He’s telling you. Write it in the present tense, as though it has already happened. Writing your vision down, allows you to know the direct path you need to take to get to your desired destination. It also gives you the inspiration and motivation you need to get through life’s toughest challenges.

3). Your vision must be made as plain as possible. You need to write your vision in plain, simple to understand language. Creating a vision that is clear and simple to understand, means you won’t have to deal with any confusion, which can and will get in the way of your progress. Also know this, when your vision is plain, it will keep you energized and create excitement not only in you but also everyone that is connected to you. They will want to eagerly start writing down and implementing their goals as well.

4). Your vision should be posted where you can see it daily. Your posted vision statement is your constant reminder of what is possible in your life, if you follow the directions, you wrote down.

5). Your vision helps you overcome the obstacles, that will come your way. Your vision from God doesn’t mean you won’t have some tough times. It will, however, give you the strength and courage to keep pushing forward and never give up.

6). Your vision will manifest itself in God’s time. When it comes to your vision, you must have patience; you can’t rush the progress you are looking for. Please do not rush your vision. Always remember your visions will manifest when God determines the time is right.

7). Your vision must be lived by faith. The more you focus your attention on your vision, the more your faith will grow. Taking slow and steady steps, as you go along on your vision journey will open doors for many opportunities to happen.
