“PRAY FOR THOSE YOU DISAGREE WITH!!

Talk is cheap, so if we say we follow Jesus, let our actions show it by loving, ESPECIALLY, our enemies.

As the church, our response to the trials and obstacles of this world should look different than those who don’t know God. Our first response should be PRAYER. Our hope is in Jesus alone, so the way we fight our battles is by living in relationship with the Lord.

Are you too busy standing up for your convictions to get on your knees first ? // Before we wage war with our words, let’s fight on our knees!

‘For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.’ 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

The things of this world are fleeting, but we serve a God who is everlasting. Our allegiance is to Him, the true King of Kings!

“How often do you look for the beauty in the church?

The Greek word for church is Ekklesia // Ekklesia means those who are called out and those who gather together in an assembly

Ekklesia is not a building, but it is a people!

We as the church are called to stir one another up in love. We are called to share the good news with a world that is lost and broken. We are called to live as sons and daughters to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. What a beautiful and high calling!

If you find yourself discouraged and let down by brokenness in the church, remember that we are to trust not in man, but in God alone. He is the true solid rock, foundation, and cornerstone of the church 🙌

"Are you missing the point of the gospel?

If we are only viewing the gospel as a way to avoid hell, then we are diminishing the full power and love that Jesus displayed on the cross // Heaven is a promise, but it's not the only gift of the gospel

'For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the Spirit.' - 1 Peter 3:18

The point of the gospel is that you now have full access to a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The God of the Universe desires to be close to you, and this is the gift we can experience here on earth 🙏
