The California Air Resources Board withdrew its request for federal permission to outlaw the sale of anything but zero emission trucks by 2036.

But that withdrawal also prevented a potential collapse of the California trucking industry.

The A's and iHeartRadio have a deal in place to broadcast all Spring Training, regular season & post season games on our sister station -- Talk 650 KSTE — with the very first Cactus League game this Saturday. The A's also making a deal Monday with their Manager -- extending the contract of Mark Kotsay through the 2028 season — with an option for 2029. General Manager David Forst was impressed how Kotsay has navigated a tough situation the last few years and is confident things will start to pay off.
