Guest: Vic Clesceri, executive coach, college professor, and founder of The Surrender Project
From the time we enter school, we are pushed to succeed, measuring success by entering the next grade level. Is it any wonder we now lose sleep over what we haven’t accomplished, thinking we are a failure? We seek peace, freedom, and joy, but believe it’s tied to success.
Vic Clesceri spent several decades coaching people toward success and discovered a wonderful secret: peace begins with surrender. During his own internal struggle, Vic sensed God challenging him to give Him his heart, not his hustle. Through that, Vic left his successful career and discovered God’s plan for his life: teaching total surrender.
His extensive coaching experience led him to develop a unique program called The Surrender Project, a faith-rooted movement focused on spiritual formation, vocational discernment, and whole-life surrender. The program begins with a free Surrender Assessment to determine your baseline of surrender. Using fifty questions, the assessment shows where you land on a five-level scale. Vic’s book, The Way of Surrender, offers fifty practical maxims teaching you how to discover and surrender the baggage you’re not supposed to carry. His companion book, Seasons of Surrender, shows how faith and practice intersect. Learn how surrendering isn’t a one-time event, but a way to tap into the Holy Spirit at all times of your day.
