Alex Stone has the details of 'going where no one has gone before'.
The first all-civilian flight to Earth's orbit successfully launched into orbit about 363 miles, the farthest any civilian has traveled from Earth. One other detail that we should note: these 4 astronauts will have arguably the best bathroom view in human history. That's because the toilet is apparently in the nose of the ship. And since this flight is not going to the ISS, the company removed the traditional docking adaptor that is located at the nose of the spacecraft and replaced it with a glass dome. While there's not a ton of privacy (just a curtain dividing the loo from the rest of the crew) any awkwardness will probably be forgotten as soon as they get a look at the scenery.
