Pete's Bible Readings - Jeremiah 44-45
The sixth planet in our solar system, Saturn, is surrounded by thousands of intricate rings. One spacecraft, Cassini, passed through these rings at the end of its mission.
As it passed through, it measured the gravitational pull of the rings and confirmed they’re too light to have lasted for billions of years. Cassini also measured dust coming from outer space, and found the rings are too clean to be old. Researchers were forced to conclude Saturn’s rings must somehow be young.
This doesn’t surprise those who start with God’s Word. We know Saturn’s rings are just a few thousand years old, created by God for his glory.
Worry can weigh us down, leaving us searching for peace amid life's pressures. In 1 Peter 5, Scripture reveals an essential part of navigating life with God: humility. Pride can keep us from asking for help, surrendering control, and receiving God's grace. But when we acknowledge our limitations and learn to depend on Him, we discover a different way of living—one marked by greater trust, freedom, and peace.
Whether you have children, want them someday, or have absolutely no interest at all––everybody has an opinion about kids. Pastor Nick Gatzke shares a candid conversation about kids, as he unpacks what the Bible says about children and their value in the Kingdom of God.

Drawing from those experiences, he shares 10 lessons about building relationships that allow parents and grandparents to pass along wisdom, offer encouragement and make a lasting difference.
