In part 2 of his sermon series “Family Altars,” Pastor Jamshad is teaching about the importance of God’s word. The greatest command in Old Testament is to love the Lord your God with all of your heart, and when God told Moses to give these commands to the children of Israel, He commanded them to teach their children about the word of God and what He had done to deliver them from the hands of the Egyptians. They were commanded to tell of His word sitting, standing, walking, laying down, and rising so it will always be on their minds.
In today’s world, you as Christian parents need to create a Christian culture in your homes and acknowledge God because Christian families are neglecting the basics of the Christian life.
