    Bird by Bird, an exhibit of encaustic paintings and oil sketches by Shannon Troxler, will be on display at The Center Theater Gallery with an artist talk on November 10th at noon. She uses myth, legend, and poetry in these paintings to explore our fascination with the themes of flight and migration.

  • KHOL - Wyofile: Who should control public lands in Wyoming?
    We spoke with Angus Theurmer from the online, nonprofit news source Wyofile about a draft bill for an Amendment that would hand management of federal lands in Wyoming over to the state. We also considered who should decide how wildlife are managed on those lands in light of Grizzly Bears being removed from the endangered species list.

  • KHOL - Hidden Hollow Development Update
    We spoke with Developer Zane Powell about the Hidden Hollow project going in at the edge of the Elk Refuge here in Jackson Hole. He hopes to make sure that it enhances the diversity of Jackson Hole by providing a mix of residential housing—creating a comfortable balance between the multi-family and single family units, some of which will be deed restricted. They are looking for public input through their website, through email with the Town Council, or at the Town Council meeting on November 14th.

  • KHOL - Art in Translation with Cecilia Delgado Masse
    The Art Association of JH presents "Art in Translation", an exhibition series which will include artist residencies and education programs for the Latino community in Jackson, specifically those who have ties to the Tlaxcala region in Mexico. The first phase of this ambitious project is welcoming Cecilia Delgado Masse, Director of University Museum of Art and Science in Mexico City (MUCA Roma), to Jackson from October 29 through November 6.
