At the age of 17, Emily was diagnosed with a brain tumour. She was told, in no uncertain terms, that this was going to eventually be the cause of her death.

She tells us about when she was first diagnosed, when she had her life altering operation to remove the unwelcome mass and what it was like trying to recover with an emotionally and physically abusive partner.
