Zoe catches up with Denzel, one of the fav kiwi artists here at kick.

We talk with him about his latest song release 'Like i do', which sounds like the best combo of Bruno Mars, The Weeknd and Charlie Puth. There's no doubt that Denzel is putting his Pop, RNB funk sound stamp on Aotearoa.

It's the final of KICK Unsigned round five!

Zoe catches up with musician and content creator Vana.

Vana's music is dark and alluring. She strives to make music that represents her
pride as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as encouraging women to embrace their sensuality. Her songs encapsulate the feeling of viewing life through rose-tinted glasses, especially the consequences of doing so.

It's KICK Unsigned round five!

Zoe catches up with the freshest band on the Auckland music Scene. Marmalade made their debut in June of last year, performing together for the first time at the Wine Cellar alongside Grace Kelly and Manuela. This sunny four-piece has charmed their followers and won our hearts. With debut releases on the way, we’re excited to be part of the Marmalade fan club this early, and take our word for it- we've heard the demos, they’re pure indie-folky-pop-rock goodness. Keep an eye on this group.

It's KICK Unsigned round 5!

Described as “Bowie meets Sam Fender”, no one does it quite like Sam Cullen.

Zoe catches up with Sam to chat about the last two years, he’s not only released two EPs and sold out shows around the country, but already played the main stage at rhythm and vines. His immaculately produced music sits somewhere between driving stadium rock and synthy alt-pop, and comes to life live, where Sam plays his entire set solo. Happy Mag described him as “the next big thing to come out of New Zealand” and we think they’ve hit the nail on the head.
