Kickin it wit Young Smoove

“Today’s episode is special… this ain’t just a guest — this is family. My sister, Jessica Blackwell Parks. A curator of culture, a voice for Baltimore, and somebody who really lives by what we say — We Don’t Step.

From shaping community experiences at Baltimore Public Markets to building her own platform, she’s helping tell the REAL story of our city. Today we talking family, music, Baltimore, and what healthy relationships really look like. Let’s get into it.”

“Today we’re kickin’ it with a true creative out of Baltimore — an artist, songwriter, and voice in the city’s club scene, Colada Pen.

From her music to her presence in Dark City Beneath the Beat, she represents that raw, unfiltered energy that makes Baltimore culture what it is.

She’s worked alongside names like Mighty Mark and TT The Artist, helping push the sound forward while still keeping it true to the roots.

But beyond the music, she’s someone who keeps it real — whether it’s through her art or how she shows up online, you’re always getting authenticity.

So today, we’re diving into her journey, her creativity, and what it really means to be a voice for Baltimore.

Let’s get into it — this is Kickin’ It Wit Young Smoove 🎧✨”

Baltimore has always had its own rhythm — its own heartbeat — and today we’re sitting down with someone who helped define that sound.

On this episode of Kickin’ It wit Young Smoove, we’re kicking it with a true Baltimore icon: DJ, producer, educator, and Baltimore Club pioneer — Mighty Mark.

From crafting club records that move dance floors across the city, to platinum-level production work, to mentoring the next generation of creatives, Mighty Mark has played a huge role in shaping Baltimore’s musical identity.

I first witnessed that energy myself at the Gold Room — the crowd was electric, the music was nonstop, and the vibe felt like the city itself was alive in that room.

Today we’re talking about his journey, the evolution of Baltimore Club music, the power of community, and what the future of the culture looks like.

Baltimore stand up — let’s kick it with Mighty Mark.
