Singer Songwriter Davanna Sweet talks about her Reggae Roots and a journey in Music that has taken her all around the world. Davanna Sweet, born in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of a mother well known as a record producer/singer/songwriter and an ambassador of reggae music and a father, who has made a legendary mark as part of the reggae trio "The Meditations", knew she was destined for stardom. Throughout her life, being surrounded by many great reggae artists like; Marcia Griffiths, Earl 16, Dave Barker, Freddie McGregor, Sister Carol as she recalls, her journeys throughout childhood traversed global trails from New York to California, to England and Jamaica, then on to West Africa by the age of 18.
