Tonight, on a startlingly special episode of Kicking & Streaming… right ahead of St. Valentine's Day, Beau & Chris discuss all things romance with Dr. Jennifer Finlayson-Fife, relationship therapist & sexual intimacy coach. This isn't your average episode contentwise; delve into amelioration & adoration, eros & esteem, moonlight & mensches. The movies under discussion are Billy Wilder's caustic caper, The Apartment, and Moonstruck - the Norman Jewison-directed romp about passions & paramours.

Tonight, on an uncharacteristically special episode of Kicking and Streaming… Beau and Chris take a deep dive into human psychology amid the moral murkiness of war, all seen through the lens of two historic trials. Real-world larger-than-life personalities collide as a fascinating bunch of characters go through aggravatingly skewed, politically-motivated trials, both of which have far more at stake than the crimes of which the lead characters are accused.
Is it admirable or objectionable to defy authority? Can any crimes against humanity be excused with "I was only following orders"? Give this episode a listen and we'll all find out together!
Announcing our line-up for Episode 19 — Chris' pick: from Netflix - the bafflingly true tale from Aaron Sorkin, The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020). Beau’s response: the equally true and certainly stirring jewel of Australian New Wave cinema, Breaker Morant (1980).
Tonight, on a very special episode of Kicking and Streaming… Beau has moved to Mexico to enjoy his new life as a newlywed - when Chris grabs an Adam Sandler Netflix flick and crashes the party. Beau manages to hold up and is able to counter with a hospital drama-cum-whodunit from the Criterion Collection.

Hey gang, it’s been a while! We’re glad to say we’re back on the horse and ready to bring you some fantastic new content, with a new release schedule: one major episode each month, with an announcement episode 2 weeks prior with the movies we’ll be discussing.
Speaking of which, here’s our line-up for Episode 18 — Chris’ pick: Netflix’s Adam Sandler murder mystery, Murder Mystery (2019). Beau’s response: a lesser-known but nonetheless fascinating Criterion murder mystery, Green for Danger (1946).
Tonight, on a very special episode of Kicking & Streaming, Chris and Beau get into the big questions. Where did we come from? Why are we here? Where do we go when we die? If I push hard enough on the side of the escalator to the great beyond, can I score a second chance? We discuss the unprecedented streaming-only Pixar film, Soul, and the Powell and Pressburger masterpiece, A Matter of Life and Death. Scared of dying? Scared of living? We probably can't help, but boy do we love talking about it.
Announcing our line-up for Episode 17 — Pixar vs. The Archers. Chris’ pick: Disney's Oscar-contending metaphysical movie, Soul (2020). Beau’s response: a lofty, lauded, & lyrical film from Powell & Pressburger, A Matter of Life & Death (1946).
This time, on Kicking & Streaming... Beau and Chris welcome the very talented Pia Watson onto the definitely professional production set that is absolutely not Chris' kitchen. The trio discuss the quick-witted and surprisingly dark Howard Hawks comedy, His Girl Friday, and its Netflix counterpart, the raunchy rom-com with a heart of gold, Set it Up.
Announcing our line-up for Episode 16 — With special guest, actress and writer Pia Watson! Her pick: the zany, sharply written and surprisingly dark His Girl Friday (1940). Chris strikes back with Netflix’s workplace rom-com Set it Up (2018).
This week on Kicking & Streaming ... it's an explosive episode packed with vixens and vigilantes, billionaires and boobytraps. Beau & Chris are joined by, not one, but two! special guests: Cole & Ericca, hosts of The Magic Lantern. With discerning delight, Cole & Ericca picked the Criterion caper Judex (1963) Chris countered in his own way; raining chaos in the form of Michael Bay's 6 Underground (2019) from Netflix.
