Anna Maria Mazzieri is a practising Soft Tissue Therapist and an Educator. With over two decades in the field, she has been instrumental in integrating Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) into Massage and Soft Tissue Therapy Training. 

It is through The ST School, which she founded and still teaches at, where Anna Maria blends solid vocational training with modern, evidence informed reasoning to pain management and injury rehabilitation. She has created and developed a strong community of Soft Tissue Therapists committed to a modern approach to manual therapy, recognised and being respected by other professionals. 

Anna Maria Italian accent can be heard on the “Touch Matters”, podcast which has just been relaunched.  

Through her contributions for improving the industry, Anna Maria is widely regarded as an expert in her field and has earned the position of co-author in several research studies, the most recent is the well accepted paper “A modern way to teach and practice manual therapy”.  Currently is in the process of completing with an international group of neuroscientists and psychologists a paper about Trauma and somatic approaches.

Announcing Hattie Hasan MBE

Hattie has always kicked doors down, She founded Stopcocks Women Plumbers  in 1990 and STOPCOCKS GROUP LIMITED more recently.

With the help of Mica May, Hattie created and runs W I T, women installers together. I have attended this event and can honestly say that I have never attended a conference that enables the sharing of experience and best practice in such an open environment. It felt like a space where we could be vulnerable, where we could remove the armor that we usually have to wear on a daily basis! I felt relieved and liberated after that event and I have carried that with me ever since.
