Join  "Moe" from the Deep Dark Truth podcast to talk about Tanner Barton and the strange case of Joann Matouk Romain. Police decided she killed hersaelf before her body was ever found. Her case has more twists and turns than a tornado. Joann vanished under strange circumstances from her church in Grosse Point Farms,MI on the night of Jan. 12,2010. Before his death Tanner was a Indiana powerlifter. Tanner colapsed as he began climbing the stairs at the end of a party on April  22,2012. He was said to have made a funny sound when he fell. A girl took his pulse then stepped over his body. She went to sleep and never called 911. In fact no help was called for until 6 1/2 hours later. He died of positional asphyxiation. It is believed he was drugged and therefor could not move. Everyone involved has lawyered up. Big surprise. Stephanie Olisky was found dying on the main road in her small home town of East Windsor,CT. She did pass 3 days later in the hospital from head injuries. She is believed to have been thrown forceably from a moving car. Who would do this to an innocent 15 year old child. Her sister Margaret Olisky will join me to dicuss this question and tell us about her sister.Please listen and maybe you can help solve this sad mystery which is close to my heart.You see this isn't just another small New England town to me,it's my grandfather's hometown. Misty was 14 when she vanished after missing the city bus home from the Puyallup county fair on Sept. 17,1992. Misty has never been seen again Police have questioned her 18 year old friend Rhuben and his unnamed uncle in the case. Her clothes were later found at a popular fishing spot. DNA testing has been done on hair found thereon. No results have been made public.
