We're phoning it in. Literally. Taylor, Elliott and Bill all record their new, new-to-them, and rediscovered music picks on the voice memo apps for this first ever mobile KDF production.

Taylor, Elliott and Bill take a trip back in time through the Billboard Alternative charts before talking about everything else under the sun. Where else are you going to turn for the latest Harvey Danger news?

Taylor, Elliott and Bill reconvene to talk music and politics and so much more. We discuss new tunes, seeing Superchunk in Baltimore, the history of R.E.M, if artists are legitimate political voices, and James van der Beek as Diplo. The conversation was so much fun we decided not to play any tunes during the show. But we talked about a lot of music.

For episode 30 of KDF, Bill shuts off his DAP for a bit and starts spinning vinyl on his new turntable. After a few tracks a bit of a dark, electronic, female vocal-driven vibe starts to emerge, so we just stick with that and drive it home.

For episode 26 of Kids Don't Follow, it's a solo effort as Bill takes the mic on a late night whim and goes through his digital audio player for an LP's worth of hip hop and rap tracks.

For episode 25 of Kids Don't Follow we have two amazing special guests. Cynthia Connolly, who is an artist, photographer and curator and the person behind the book Banned in DC joins us along with the musician, concert promoter, teenage record company executive known as Amanda MacKaye.

We ask some questions, pretend to have some sort of structure, but in the end, it's just a great conversation about DC, music and growing up.
