A Centers for Disease Control study has confirmed what many have feared, the pandemic has had grave consequences on the mental health of our youth with 44% of our youth saying they have ongoing “sad” and “hopeless” feelings. Licensed mental health professional Joannie DeBrito addresses these latest findings and offers hope for youth experiencing mental health struggles. Joannie will also introduce the Alive to Thrive prevention resource along with ideas on how to encourage the young people in your life.
