In the first episode of the Fall 2017 session of BizTank we start off the Kids in the Tank Podcast with Seth, Jenna, Marissa, and Oscar talking to former (now retired) General Manager, Americas, for TOM's Shoes, Mark Satkiewicz about whether he prefers the role of GM or CEO, how his involvement with a cycling group influences the day-to-day operations at work and if he and co-founder, Jeff, were actually good at baseball.

Then the table turns as Satkiewicz asks the BizKids how they got involved with BizTank and what they're most worried about as they approach college/life post high school.  There was also the big question, whether the kids are Bear or Packer fans....take a listen to find out!

Finally, we wrapped up episode 9 with the 'Round Table' where the BizKids touched on various topics like homecoming dress up days, PSL, surviving the end of the world, World Series Champs, and so much more!

In our final week of the Summer 2017 session of BizTank we had the pleasure of hearing from Jeannette Grayson, the Director, Human Resource Business Partner with Aurora Health Care, as she talked about a variety of career opportunities within the healthcare field, beyond doctors and nurses.

During the interview portion of the podcast, Troy, Alexia, and Kevin, asked Jeannette about the importance of work culture and atmosphere and how it impacts productivity.  They asked her about the pros and cons of HR, her favorite parts of the industry, and so much more.

Then they 'Flip It' and Jeannette asked them about their own personal goals and what they're planning to do next, as well as their thoughts on being labelled a millennial and what employers should know about them.

In the final segment, 'Round Table' Hana joins the crew to discuss a whole slew of topics from Trump & green cards, Netflix vs. Hulu, small town living vs. the big city, drunk drivers and so much more!

Kids in the Tank got a chance to ask Nick Bowers, a Performance Analyst (who flies drones to capture the best footage of the sailing) for Emirates Team New Zealand questions about what he had to do to get to where he is now. Also, he talks about the wide range of jobs he held in the past, and how sometimes "fake it, til you make it" is the best thing you can do.

This week's Round Table covers a wide range of topics. The Kids discuss everything from The Ohio State Fair accident, from Kesha being "free", to Trump banning incoming transgender people from the military.

During BizTank we joined in on Felicity & Max's Facebook Live segment, Wine Wednesdays, where they discuss topics within the screenwriting and entertainment industries as they both a part of the International Screenwriters Association.

Felicity is the Director at Unrestricted View, International Screenwriters' Association and Max Timm is the Director of Education and Outreach at Int'l Screenwriters Assoc, and President of The Story Farm LLC were this evening's guest speakers.

It was a pleasure to talk to Lori Cheek, Architect turned Entrepreneur, Founder and CEO of Cheekd— a mobile dating app that makes missed connections obsolete- https://t.co/hTx3GzVc2R. Lori, a Shark Tank Veteran, was recently listed as "The Digital Dating Disruptor" and "One of the Top 10 CEOs to Watch." A University of Kentucky Architectural Graduate, Lori is no longer building structures.  She's now building relationships.

We were fortunate enough to have Editor-in-Chief of Entrepreneur Magazine, Jason Feifer, as our very first guest on the podcast, Kids in the Tank.  Our hosts, Tommy, Hunter, Jenna, Madelyn, and Damian put him in the "Hot Seat" by asking him questions about his education, career (both past and present), as well as the various projects he's associated with.

Kids in the Tank is a podcast created by the participants of BizTank, an educational experience about the world of business for high school juniors and seniors.  Besides covering topics such as start-ups, financials, on-trend marketing and social media, we'll have guest speakers visit, who will share their knowledge and explain the drive, the hard work, and the directions their lives have taken.

Kids in the Tank will be researching the guest speakers, coming up with their own questions, and digging deeper to find out what matters to them.  Then the tides will turn and it'll be the guest speaker asking the questions.  In hopes to challenge and get true reactions about what they're learning and getting out of the 'Tank.
