This episode is an honest conversation between host Sam Fletcher and her mum (and Kids Village trustee) Claire Fletcher about their experience of going through cancer treatment. Sam was diagnosed with cancer aged 9 and Claire describes the families life changing year as they discuss the importance of Kids Village.

This episode features Kids Village ambassador Amelia, along with her mum Michelle. Amelia is a 10-year-old cancer survivor with a infectious spirit who despite having a prosthetic leg, lives life in the most dynamic and exciting way. The pair talk to host Sam about their mutual experience of battling a critical illness. They discuss ideas & what they are most excited about for Kids Village. 

Host Sam starts to introduce the people currently working on Kids Village, with trustee Rich Palmer. Rich has a wealth of experience in building UK holiday parks and brings structure & organisation to the team. Sam & Rich discuss the practicalities of bringing Kids Village to life.
